Slowly remove the wavy lace front wigs from your skin. Use the cotton swab and remover to prevent injury to your skin or the lace.

Apply the glue to your hairline with a cotton swab. Do not use a lot of glue, especially if you are using a soft-bond adhesive since it requires drying time. Find the center of your front hairline. This is where you want to apply the wig first. With a fine-toothed comb, press the wig down into the glue. Work to one side and then the other.

Wash, condition and dry your natural hair. You can use your usual products. Wash your face. Use a cotton ball dipped in alcohol to wipe around your hairline.

Once you have checked your cheap clip in hair extensions, tie your hair down with a silk or satin scarf, allowing the glue to set properly. Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to remove the wig in any places where it isn’t applied properly.

Select an adhesive. Each adhesive has different directions for proper bonding. A soft-bond adhesive requires drying time to become tacky before applying the wig. You can use a blow dryer on cool or warm to help the glue dry. A hard-bond adhesive dries immediately. If you use tape, cut it to match your hairline. Apply to the lace on the wig by removing one side of the tape, leaving spaces between pieces of tape to allow water to get through.

Remove all glue from lace gently. Wash your wig and lace to remove excess glue. Saturate your hairline with the adhesive remover. You can use a cotton swab to get in between the lace and your skin. With a cotton ball, remove the glue from your skin.

Lace front wigs have a natural hairline that makes it nearly impossible to detect that you are wearing a wig. You can choose a texture to match your current hair or something different to change your look in a snap. Applying a lace front wig is not challenging and can be accomplished in a few short steps.
